The Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts at University of Gothenburg asked us to help them better understand problems and misconceptions on their four extensive websites. It is clear, following the recent formation of the Faculty, that a wider and more integrated communications effort would be highly beneficial for both faculty and institutions.
We produced a comprehensive audit, highlighting a number of key insights regarding usability, architecture, continuity and communications clarity. The audit was based on several analytical processes, including case study, close reading, persona analysis, technical testing, user experience analysis, visual and legibility-focused overviews. The report resulted in concrete, actionable improvements as well as a broader vision to suggest future web communications. The audit and its effects were then presented and discussed in-depth with the Faculty board.
